A handyman handles the small and medium repairs that pile up around a home. That includes drywall patches, sticking doors, caulking, painting touch-ups, TV and shelf mounting, and furniture assembly. If you are unsure whether a job fits, text a photo and we will tell you.
Can you do plumbing, electrical or roofing work?
No. Plumbing, electrical and roofing work goes to licensed independent contractors. We can still help around those jobs, for example by repairing and repainting a ceiling after a plumber or roofer has fixed a leak. We will tell you up front which part is ours.
How do I book a handyman visit?

Can you handle several small jobs in one visit?
Yes, that is a common way to use a handyman. Make a list of everything you want done, such as a door that sticks, a nail-hole touch-up and a mounted shelf. Send the list with photos and we will say what fits into one visit.
Should I hire a handyman or a general contractor?
A handyman suits smaller repairs and odd jobs. A general contractor suits larger projects such as additions, major remodels and work that changes the structure of the home. If your project is bigger than a handyman job, we will say so rather than take it on.
Does the age of my home matter for painting or repairs?
Yes. Homes built before 1978 may contain lead paint, and federal rules set special requirements for paid work that disturbs paint in those homes. Tell us roughly when your home was built so we can say whether a job needs a firm certified for lead-safe work.
